Facials, Full Body Massage and Deep Tissue Massage...
Facials, Full Body Massage and Deep Tissue Massage...
Facials:
thorough skin analysis, cleansing, toning, firming, and hydrating
treatments... I prefer herbal treatments and aroma therapy during
my sessions... An ultimate combination of a therapeutic treatment
and revitalization journey.
Full Body Massage:
I prefer to have a full body basic massage first... then a deep
tissue massage and then my facial while I relax on the table
after the full body massage and the deep tissue massage... that's
the most relaxing order of events for me personally... I don't
care for public hot tubs so I don't use those... I do however
feel there's allot of benefit to a sauna... in an immaculate
facility or a home sauna... a home hot tub is fine - if it's
in my home... I'm a germ nut and don't like using certain
things other people have used or been on... so finding the
right spa is a challenge when you are going to be visiting a
new area and want to get some spa time in while there...
Deep Tissue Massage:
Deep tissue massage intensively works on the muscles and connective
tissues to loosen toxins that have built up in the muscle tissue
causing muscles to be stressed and to block nutrients and oxygen,
leading to inflamed muscle tissue. By having a deep tissue massage
you will get your blood and oxygen circulating properly. Deep
tissue massages will help break up and release those built up toxins,
therefore it is important that you drink plenty of water after the
session to help your body eliminate these toxins.
Deep tissue massages concentrating slowly and rhythmically on an
area before moving on to another are what I personally find the most
relaxing... as opposed to and all over deep tissue massage from head
to toe in a more quick overall manner... I say stay onan area and
work that muscle a bit before moving to it's adjoining area for
more of the same... almost like working from head to toe but by
areas in a descending the body order to work the stress right
down and out of your body through the tips of your toes...
but... I am not a massage therapist or medical specialist...
I just know that that is how I derive the best results during
and afterwards...
one of the spas I will probably try sometime soon - when business
takes me in that direction will be the Sundance Spa... have any
of you been there ?? what are your thoughts / feedback ??
when I go there I will most definitely try their deep tissue
massage... here's how they describe it:

structural misalignment.

side note:
Recently when doing some research for a series of
articles about gift giving, gift cards, gift certificates
and the ultimate gift experiences... I came across a place
that has some really wonderfully sounding spa gift card
packages...
I'll be doing a full series of articles specifically on
spa gift packages as well but for now I do want to share
this one specifically with you and to ask for your
feedback on a few of the features included in their package...
Read some of the spa packages features and think about
them carefully - then tell me which one would you be most
interested in receiving if you were to win a contest in the
future that featured a Spa Package as the Grand Prize.
(special note - the spa could be located anywhere in the USA
- where would you prefer ?? and why ??)

Spa Rituals:
If you've been to spas before and have had various procedure
and services performed - what would you consider to be the
basic package that should be included and what would you
classify as the "extras" ??
My research is to find spas world wide that incorporate at
touch of their localities culture into the spa experience...
whatever that might be - as long as it is recognizably a
regional add on - into the package because of the spas
location.... Capturing the essence of the indigenous cultures
for an uplifting and awakening experience that will transport
one from the everyday stresses to a relaxing mind and spirit
traveling getaway for an afternoon.
Specifically looking for spas that incorporate exotic cultures
rituals into the spa experience - stateside. Rituals and
treatments that capture the true spirit of nature and it's healing
arts.
I'd like to know if you were given a package for two, would you
prefer that to be for you and a best friend... or you and your
significant other... and why you chose as you did...
I'd like you to make a selection and give me feedback on
why you selected one over the other of these to scenarios
note that below in example A and B the spa treatments take
place in the same - local spa:
A.) 4 passes to 4 afternoons of spa relaxation to be used
whenever you want or given away as gifts.
B.) a 2-day and 1-night spa weekender getaway...
which of those would you prefer (if given the choice)
and why ??
Facials, Full Body Massage and Deep Tissue Massage...
of those three which do you or would you most enjoy included
in a spa package?? and why ??
Warm Stones - Massage...
have you ever had one ?? have you ever given one ??
Non-Surgical Facial:
Non-surgical facial "refinishing" treatments specifically for the
individual that wishes to soften or eliminate facial imperfections
and achieved a clearer, refreshed look...
I am working on a series of articles about the various non-surgical
treatments currently available...
other spa services I have seen included in packages are... makeup
and bridal services.... head and scalp care...
hand and foot waxing... etc... what others have you seen ??
Nail Care:
One of my personal favorites in a spa or beauty salon afternoon...
I have been a long time admirer of pretty nails and hands...
I have several website specifically tailored to Finger Nails as a
result of my passion for Nail Care... I'll share more about that with
you sometime... oh and nail care is MORE than just fingernails...
feet need to look fabulous as well... a "royal foot treatment" is
one of lifes indulgences that when done correctly make you
wonder if it's legal to feel so good... (giggle...)
