Google updates photo editing/organizing tool

Google has introduced an upgrade to its Picasa photo editing and organizing software, offering users advanced capabilities such as adding basic lighting and colour effects, and CD burning.

Picasa 2, available for free download from the Google Web site today, builds on the product Google gained when it acquired photo management company Picasa last year. (more)

I didn't even know that Google offered the free photo editing
and organizing software called Picasa... I am going to
download that right now...

It doesn't surprise me though that GOOGLE has something
like this... they seem to be everywhere... and into everything...

(. . . and that is a GOOD thing . . . )
