Reality TV and Wayne Newton collide for a
10-part talent search premiering Jan. 23rd
on the E! Entertainment Network.

The tanned, perfectly coiffed crooner's new
Reality TV show is the Vegas strip version of
the American Idol Show. What makes this
different is that it will be a search for
entertainers and not just vocalists. The 10
finalists (all in their 20's) will not only
include vocalists, but also comedians and
illusionists. They will need to show Newton
that they ARE "the entertainer" and deserve
to win.

The goal prize includes a featured gig in Vegas
as part of Wayne Newton's VEGAS Revue.

childhood. I didn't know that it was at the
tender age of 4.

I personally have always always always liked Wayne Newton
and a few years ago was able to enjoy his participation in
a corporate event I was part of... he's such a class act...

I'd like to have his plastic surgeon for a
boob job+ ... (smile)

I'd love to find a complete list of all the entertainers
that Wayne Newton has appeared or performed with...
I have seen names associated with him - such as:
Elvis Presley (my all time favorite entertainer from
the past), Jack Benny, Jackie Gleason (oh I loved Jackie
Gleason also), George Burns, Frank Sinatra, Lucille Ball
(a female fave of mine)... I thought he'd also performed
with Donny and Marie Osmond... but I could be wrong...
