Apple Pie and the Birthday FOOD Competition Episode of BB6

listening to Maggie an her group after she
won HoH... and al night long up in the HoH
bedroom was fun... they laid out their strategy
(at least the one they plan for now - until
something happens to change their minds)


for the food competition - they did a game show
them outside asking questions - they all had to
dress up in costumes - it was hilarious
- - - they won food for every day...
and a bonus for Aprils Birthday...

Big Happy Birthday to April who turns 31 today...

and here's an Apple PIE recipe - just because...

Apple Pie - especially for the Big Brother 6 cast
enjoy...

Crust:
1 cup Crisco
1 Tbls. cider vinegar
1 medium egg
2 cups white flour (regular)
2 Tbls. water
1 Tbls. milk
1/2 teas. salt


Pie Filling:
1 teas. cinnamon
1/2 cup white sugar
3 cups finely cut apples
1 Tbls. orange juice
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 Tbls. cornstarch


Directions:
First blend the Crisco and flour together, well.
Gradually add the other crust ingredients and mix well.
To create a top and bottom crust - divide dough in half.
Roll out the bottom crust and place it in a 9" pie dish.
For the top crust - roll out the remaining dough.

Mix the filling together and place into the crust in the pie dish.
On top of the filling, place small chunks of butter (about 1 Tbls).
Top crust goes on top and bake for 10 minutes at 425. Then lower
the heat to 350 for another 40 minutes.
